TUNDRA kit number 9 is the first customer built TUNDRA to take flight. The first flight took place in Midland, Ontario, Canada on September 6, 2005.

See pictures below of the assembly process of Mr. Leonard Deraps' TUNDRA in Natashquan, in Northern Quebec, Canada. Mr. Deraps made his first flight on October 3, 2006 at 10H00. His TUNDRA flies with a Continental 0-470 engine and according to him; "it climbs like a helicopter at 130 mph..."

Mr. Sauvé bought his kit in January 2006. He attended a 3 day seminar at DreamAircraft factory, on Tundra assembly tips and techniques. He has started his assembly in July and is now working on his tail section.
LYNN SANDERSON - Conde SD, USA
Mr Sanderson, from South Dakota bought his TUNDRA during AirVenture 2006 in Oshkosh WI. Mr Sanderson took the fastbuild option and came to Granby in December 2006 to take advantage of the builder assist program for the completion of his TUNDRA.

We have just completed the company tricycle that we will bring to show's, It is equiped with the Dynon glass cockpit and Garmin GPS.
